This is a recipe for a cake with dates. I made this for a vegetarian friend who ate the whole cake in one day:).
Ingredients:
Pitted Dates: 15-20
Cashewnuts: 8-10
Milk: ¾ cup
Maida (all purpose flour): 1 cup
Baking powder: ½ tsp.
Baking soda: ½ tsp
Vegetable oil: ½ cup
Sugar: ½ cup
Add dates and sugar to the milk and grind to a fine paste
Blend in the oil
Mix the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Add to the previously prepared paste
Add cashewnuts.
Pour the prepared batter into a greased baking pan and bake in a pre heated oven at 350 degrees F.
